The three-day event showcased a wide range of topics, from artificial intelligence to sustainability and accessibility, with contributions from renowned speakers such as Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web.
WMF, organized by Search On Media Group, served as a platform for collaboration and future-building, attracting participants from various sectors and institutions. Cosmano Lombardo, Founder and CEO of Search On Media Group and Creator of WMF, emphasized the event’s mission of creating a sustainable and inclusive future through technological innovation and AI.
The 11th edition featured 10 pavilions hosting educational, business, and networking events, as well as entertainment and shows. The Mainstage welcomed international guests such as Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Manuel Castells, and Albanian Minister Edona Bilali, along with representatives from renowned institutions and companies.
One of the highlights of WMF was the international Startup Competition, which awarded prizes totaling 2 million euros to innovative startups. Egyptian startup Yalla claimed the first prize, securing a spot in the Startup World Cup finals in San Francisco. The event also featured captivating concerts by renowned artists and a rich educational program with over 100 stages.
