“SCOVR” Explanation
The term “SCOVR” is derived from the word “DISCOVER” and is used when individuals express their intention to understand what is happening nearby. Just as people commonly say “I’ll Google it” when seeking information, users can say: “I’ll SCOVR what is going on in proximity.”
The acronym “SCOVR” represents the following qualities:
- S = Security
- C = Creativity
- O = Openness
- V = Visionary
- R = Reality
SCOVR is the fastest platform to transform screen time into meaningful connections with real people. With SCOVR, you can easily find and join activities you like, meet new friends with similar interests, and build a vibrant community without the distractions of fake profiles or discrimination. It’s your safe space to be authentic and connect with others without a dating perspective. Say goodbye to endless scrolling and hello to genuine human connections with SCOVR.
Tell us about yourself and your story. How did you end up where you are?
In my childhood, my parents connected me with beautiful minds, and we became friends. I noticed that real-life connections are much more valuable than online connections. We stayed in contact via Social Media, but I was suffering and constantly searching for new friends and people to connect with, especially when I was traveling or my friends were not available.
What’s your biggest lesson learned in your journey?
In my generation, people never learned to approach somebody in real life. When I travel on public transportation, everybody is glued to their screen. Same in public. Up to 14 hours of screen time leads to loneliness and isolation. As the latest studies show, that makes people sick. Loneliness is just as toxic as smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol. It leads to a 15-year-shorter life.
What separates you from competitors or other companies?
I have often been called the new Mark Zuckerberg, but I didn’t like that comparison because the code behind his dopamine-driven apps is toxic. I feel more like Brian Chesky from Airbnb. He also struggled in the very beginning and was rejected by many investors. This happened to us as well. At SCOVR, behind every user there is a real person with a beautiful mind behind the profile, and our mission is to create a safe environment to connect!
Any tips or advice for young professionals or entrepreneurs?
If you want to change the world for the better, you need a clear, laser-sharp vision to succeed. Bootstrap as long as you can and convince your friends and family to support you. I have seen so many talented people out there disappear. But please, never give up! You have to be at the right time, in the right place, with the right idea! Forget online meetings! Go out and meet in real life!
How do you see yourself in 10 years?
I envision myself continuing to lead SCOVR into new frontiers of technology and human connection. I see us as pioneers in creating innovative solutions that bridge the gap between digital experiences and real-life interactions. My goal is to inspire a cultural shift where technology enhances our relationships and brings people closer together, rather than isolating them behind screens. I hope to have expanded SCOVR into a global movement, impacting the way we engage with technology and each other on a worldwide scale. Personally, I aspire to be a thought leader in the tech industry, advocating for a balanced and mindful approach to technology usage. Ultimately, I see myself as a catalyst for positive change, using entrepreneurship to foster deeper human connections in an increasingly digital world.

Who is your role model or inspiration in your life?

What are the top 3 core values in life?
For a young 17-year-old entrepreneur aiming to turn screen time into people time with SCOVR, the top 3 core values in life are perseverance, integrity, and a goal-oriented mindset. Here is my advice: Without commitment, you will never start. But more importantly, without consistency, you will never finish. If it were easy, everybody would do it, but it’s not. So, keep working, keep striving, never give up, fall down seven times, get up eight. Keep moving, keep growing, keep learning. See you at work!

What is the best and the worst part of your job?

How do you balance the pursuit of wealth and success with personal fulfilment and happiness?
As a young entrepreneur, I believe that the pursuit of wealth and success is not just about monetary gain, but also about achieving personal fulfilment and happiness. To me, wealth encompasses being rich in knowledge, having a safe and fulfilled life with deep and meaningful relationships, friends and family, and the opportunity to make a positive impact. It’s about creating a life that is not only financially rewarding, but also emotionally and spiritually fulfilling. Striking a balance between ambition and personal well-being is crucial. It involves setting clear priorities, managing time effectively, and nurturing a supportive network of friends and family. It’s not just about the destination, but also about the journey, and finding joy in both the successes and the challenges along the way. Ultimately, wealth and success are important, but they are truly meaningful when they contribute to a life filled with purpose, contentment, and happiness.
