Moneys Magazine, as a proud partner of Keiretsu Forum SEE, was an active participant at the event, witnessing first-hand the ground breaking concepts and entrepreneurial spirit driving the region forward.
In the premises of the ‘Hilton Podgorica’ in Montenegro and under a promising atmosphere for the entire ecosystem and especially for the present start-ups, after numerous and high-quality applications, five start-ups took the stage:
- T-Blocks, an Albanian start up, unveiled its pioneering vision of the first innovative platform in the country that connects developers and asset owners with global investors through block chain technology, aiming to democratize investments in non-tradable assets.
- Representatives of YOVA, a start up from North Macedonia, presented their idea of an ethical fashion brand aiming to change the production and consumption of fashion, by creating and supporting a conscious community that protects the planet.
- Flourish, an idea founded in Montenegro, is a platform that enhances the emotional intelligence of company employees through easy and entertaining exercises, aiming to improve communication and well-being in the workplace.
- Boksy Adriatic, a startup from North Macedonia, presented their platform to offer regional audiobooks, e-books, and podcasts through a subscription model, aiming to connect young readers with publishers.
- Final Find, the last startup from Montenegro to conclude the presentations, explained their service of offering detailed and personalized guidance for traveling easily to hard-to-find destinations on the map, overcoming the limitations of traditional map applications.
Their presentations were high-quality and carefully prepared as a result of the Pre-Training Session conducted by KFSEE for these startups and also demonstrated the great potential within our region, capturing the attention and interest of our eager investors, ready to take the next steps.
The event concluded with a final “Mind Sharing” session among investors, exchanging thoughts and discussing the potential of all the ideas presented during the event.
Investors have already shown active interest in three of the startups, which will proceed to intensive meetings and explanations with them, where successful finalization through one or more investments is expected.
A very positive and optimistic development for our entire region is the observation that such investor networks are growing and expanding, as evidenced by the Keiretsu Forum SEE community, which now counts 40 members from the entire region and continues to grow every month. In addition, collaborations with VCs, incubators, accelerators, government actors, as well as participation in conferences and important events for the ecosystem in the nine countries of Southeast Europe where KFSEE operates, are further strengthening their position in the ecosystem and above all the potential and vision of the latter.
The event concluded on a positive note within the framework of the ongoing commitment to nourish innovation and entrepreneurship in South-eastern Europe.
From September 16-20, the capital of Albania will host the Digital Nomad Festival at the premises of the Pyramid of Tirana, where numerous speakers and enthusiasts of the ecosystem will discuss entrepreneurship, creative technologies, and green economy.
This gathering promises a vibrant exchange of ideas as speakers and enthusiasts converge to explore the realms of entrepreneurship, creative technologies, and sustainable practices within the green economy. Also, on May 21st, Keiretsu Forum SEE will join the festivities, extending an open invitation to investors and startups to engage in dynamic discussions and valuable connections.
